Day 8 | Gallant in Relationships

Day 8 | Gallant in Relationships

Be A Blessing To Your Wife Today

“Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:20

A husband should not view his wife as a burden, but as a blessing or a gift from the Lord.  God will never give you a gift meant to replace His presence in your life. In the same way, you must realize that your wife has a personal relationship with God.  She is not only your wife but she is also a spiritual sister in her own right.  Her relationship with God is personal between her and Him.

Joseph was instructed to not enter into his relationship with Mary out of fear.  Fear should never be the foundation of  your marriage.

BLESS YOUR MARRIAGE

  • Realize that God has ordained marriage.
  • Maintain a passionate relationship in your marriage.
  • Celebrate each other’s personal achievements.
  • You should desire to impress your wife; to live above her expectations.
  • Share your goals and dreams.  Be in agreement.
  • Honor her relationship with the Father.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Purchase a card and write a personal note to your wife.  Tell her how thankful you are that she is your wife and that she has a relationship with the Father.

I need to do this more. It’s the little things that I forget to do that mean the world to my wife. Thanks for the reminder today.

Agree with both of the men above. Add flowers every once in a while, not just when you mess up…

Sometimes I have allowed life to get me off track of doing these things. I will make this happen.

I don’t have a wife, so I guess I get a pass on this one?

Hey brother. If you feel God has a wife in mind for you eventually, then write a card for your future wife. A prayer for God to continue His work through her (and you) as He prepares you both for your eventual marriage. And give it to her on your wedding day.

I like to, occasionally, write a note and place it over my wife’s coffee cup. I get her coffee ready every morning (I leave for work well before she’s awake) and usually put a cloth or paper towel over it (to keep the dust out) and sometimes that note goes over it. Cards are rare, so today a card it will be.

I think it’s rather the time to show her that I am able not to mess up. May the father help me. Anyway I need to improve my gratitude for the precious gift from zhe father. Thank you for reminding me.

Definitely agree on this point. I love my wife and why not celebrate that?

Definitely agree on this point. I adore my wife and will work harder at keeping us in love with life and each other.
