Day 27 | Entrepreneurial Drive

Integrity In Business

“But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity.” Psalm 26:11

The economic mess of 2008 was caused by the lack of one thing – a lack of integrity.  Political maneuvering and an insatiable appetite of greed severed the thin line of integrity.

Integrity is foundational to having a long-term career or business.  As the course is corrected, we should examine our relationships in business to make sure we are not allowing questionable partnerships to take root in our lives.

THE FIVE TESTS OF INTEGRITY

  1. Value character above talent.
  2. Value self-control above greed.
  3. Value honest lips above the flatterer.
  4. Value diligence above the zealous.
  5. Value an honest assessment over inflated books.

You are in business for the long haul not the get rich quick scheme.  To have staying power we must operate our affairs with integrity.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Look over your business relationships.  Do they pass the integrity test?  Are you doing anything of questionable conduct?  Be honest and evaluate your standing as a company or business.
